8 Week Mindfulness Course
My own mindfulness journey began over 18 years ago, and the benefits have been immeasurable, shaping how I met life. Alongside teaching mindfulness, I bring the lived experience of what it means to sustain a personal practice over time. Mindfulness has its roots in Buddhist teachings over 2,500 years old, and was introduced to the West in a clinical, evidence-based format by Jon Kabat-Zinn. Modern research and neuroscience now affirm what was understood centuries ago, that mindfulness can fundamentally change how we see, relate, and respond to our experience. This programme is taught in a fully secular, accessible format, grounded in science while honouring the depth and wisdom of the practice. Our minds can often feel like a prison and mindfulness holds the key to freedom.
